The comparison on Booker T. Washington and Frederick Douglasss views on thraldom and hurt are quite similar. They both were black slaves who hoped for a better future for blacks that did not include slaveholding. He detested slavery and detested that the Americans were celebrating freedom on July 4th when there were four one million million million slaves in America at that time.
